We are doing a FUN review for STAAR. This is it FOLKS! Your child will be doing a carnival this week. We hope it will encourage them to relax and have fun while reviewing all this skills and challenges we have put before them. Our reading test is coming up on the 9th. We don’t want any stressing going on, just letting our kiddos know that they have got this! We will show them that they do! Please encourage them! Students will earn tickets as they review during class and them use them in a carnival situation to also earn prizes. Talk to your kiddos this week about what we are reviewing, not just the prizes that they earn. (EX: How did you earn your tickets? Want to show me more about this on cambium?). In Social Studies, we will research topics and create projects with the information found regarding explorers/influential famous Americans.
